Max Sainvil, a New Jersey resident, directed his first short film in his junior year at Linden High School. He fell in love with film after winning Best Short Film at the New Jersey Young Film & Videomakers Festival in 2000. After doing so, he attended college at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA to pursue his career in film production. After winning best senior film (the Annie E. Sinnott Film Award) at his university, Max ventured out and directed films and music videos. He has worked with artists such as Sean Puffy Combs, Wyclef Jean, Monica, and more. In 2014, he directed a documentary called, “Let’s Do It,” which hit theaters across the US Virgin Islands. Max’s most recent work included directing a short film called, “Allergic To Cats” which was officially selected and screened at the 1st Annual Newark International Film Festival.
